Proposal of Representation in PORTUGAL
The United States is the favorite international destination for Brazilians. This is apparent in data from the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the Ministry of Tourism. In 2014, the number of visas issued to Brazilians hit a new record, with the issuance of 1.075 million permits. US Department of Commerce's estimates indicated that about 1.4 million Brazilians will visit the US this year and that this number will double in 2016.
The Brazilian tourist is looking for new destinations and currently there is no information in Portuguese on alternative destinations. Only those who speak English can find travel alternatives by searching the internet.
The proposal of TurisMatch is to offer Brazilians who wish to travel the various destination choices that they may choose in their own language. Additionally, operators and local tourism agencies want to offer better travel programs, hotels, restaurants and tours in their brochures and itinerary suggestions, as this stimulates the tourist to buy more days, more car rentals, more flights, more travel insurance.
This is a great opportunity to include your destination in our pages and social media, where we can create unique spaces and posts that will be easily accessed by Brazilian tourists.
We hereby present the draft of our proposal of representation for brand promotion and business contacts advisory services in Brazil including image and market positioning.
Our job consists of:
A) Brand promotion in the press (newspapers, travel and tourist trade magazines) and public relations;
B) Brand promotion via internet (website and blog) and social media (facebook, linkedin, twitter);
C) Personal and direct brand promotion to tour operators aiming at closing sales deals;
D) Holding promotional events including lectures to companies / selected guests with presentations in breakfasts, brunches, luncheons or cocktails;
E) Participation in events, seminars and tourism fairs in Brazil as freelance representatives or at your company's exhibition booths;
F) Accompanying your company’s representatives to pre-scheduled meetings with operators in Brazil;
G) Translating your company’s material provided to us into Portuguese;
H) Printing brochures or press material in Portuguese.
The monthly cost for standard representation work is negotiable, tax-free (tax and financial expenses to be paid by your company) payable by bank transfer within the current legislation between the two countries or in another mutually agreed form.
All third-party expenses, such as printing, rental of booths at fairs or events, trips to meet with contacts (please note that almost all of the operators are located in the state of São Paulo and our company is based in Rio de Janeiro, hence the need of air travel and hotel stay) will be paid separately after an estimate of the costs has been approved by your company.
